This village is in the Majha region of Punjab. It belongs to Qadian development block of the Gurdaspur district. Demographics - Population includes 333 males and 319 female residents. Out of the total population of 652 residents 115 are registered as scheduled caste. For land use out of the total 227 hectares 200 hectares are cultivated by 193 tubewells.
