This village is in the Majha region of Punjab. It belongs to Fatehgarh Churian development block of the Gurdaspur district. Demographics - Population includes 1082 males and 973 female residents. Out of the total population of 2055 residents 882 are registered as scheduled caste. For land use out of the total 310 hectares 262 hectares are cultivated by 148 tubewells.
