This village is in the Majha region of Punjab. It belongs to Sri Hargobindpur development block of the Gurdaspur district. Demographics - Population includes 1777 males and 1594 female residents. Out of the total population of 3371 residents 808 are registered as scheduled caste. For land use out of the total 640 hectares 552 hectares are cultivated by 36 tubewells.
