This village is in the Majha region of Punjab. It belongs to Fatehgarh Churian development block of the Gurdaspur district. Demographics - Population includes 285 males and 258 female residents. Out of the total population of 543 residents 134 are registered as scheduled caste. For land use out of the total 124 hectares 98 hectares are cultivated by 15 tubewells and 25 hectares are preserved as forest cover.
