This village is in the Majha region of Punjab. It belongs to Batala development block of the Gurdaspur district. Demographics - Population includes 990 males and 846 female residents. Out of the total population of 1836 residents 669 are registered as scheduled caste. For land use out of the total 235 hectares 202 hectares are cultivated by 14 tubewells.
